DR PRICE GALLIE is a Specialist Knee Surgeon with a special interest in Sports Medicine, Joint Preservation Surgery and Knee Arthroplasty. He has completed Fellowships in knee surgery in both the UK and Toronto, Canada. He founded ‘Coastorthopaedics’, an innovative subspecialty orthopaedic practice, dedicated to the provision of world class orthopaedic surgery with care and compassion.Dr Gallie treats many athletes, both professional and amateur. He is associated with a number of major sporting clubs and is the match day surgeon for the Gold Coast Titans NRL club.
He is currently one of the first Australia doctors to introduce an innovative technique for reconstructing the ACL, which allows a more rapid recovery and rehabilitation, with a safe transition back to athletic activities.

Dr Gallie has an active interest in research as an Associate Professor with Griffith University, Centre for Musculoskeletal Research. His private practice is based in Southport, and he retains his appointment at the GCUH, where he is the Director of Orthopaedic Training. Dr Gallie welcomes complex knee cases and is happy to fit in urgent appointments or discuss specific cases with local doctors.
